Each packet has literature suggestions, a list of the standards, a fact sheet describing the standards, vocabulary for posting, a student journal for exploring.
The plant activities are designed to support each of the standards. Many can be used for assessment.
Each packet includes experiments, explorations, and are followed by reflection.
I love the section on communication.
In the end they come up with a form of communication.
Students bring in baby pictures and talk about genes and traits.
